Terms & Conditions
Last updated: September 2026
These Terms & Conditions apply to YULE events, experiences and associated websites operated by South & Co Pty Ltd (ACN 657 178 295) (“South & Co”, “we”, “us” or “our”).
By using the YULE website, purchasing or using a ticket, booking an experience or entering a YULE event, you agree to these Terms & Conditions and any additional conditions communicated in connection with the relevant event, ticket or experience.
1. About YULE
YULE is an event brand produced and operated by South & Co Pty Ltd.
Individual YULE events may take place at different locations and on different dates. Event-specific information, including dates, opening hours, venue, ticket prices and programming, will be published on the YULE website and/or the relevant ticketing page.
2. Tickets and Bookings
Tickets must be purchased through the official YULE website, our authorised ticketing provider or another sales channel expressly nominated by South & Co.
All prices are in Australian dollars (AUD) and include GST where applicable, unless otherwise stated. Booking, payment processing or transaction fees may apply and will be disclosed at the time of purchase.
Tickets are subject to availability. We may apply reasonable limits to the number of tickets or places that can be purchased for particular events, sessions, workshops or experiences.
A valid ticket or other evidence of booking may be required for entry.
Tickets purchased from unauthorised resellers or secondary marketplaces may not be recognised as valid, and South & Co cannot guarantee the validity of tickets obtained through unauthorised channels.
3. Children and Family Tickets
Where YULE offers free or discounted admission for children, the applicable age requirements will be stated on the relevant event or ticketing page.
Children must be accompanied and appropriately supervised by a responsible adult while attending a YULE event.
Some workshops, licensed areas, performances or experiences may have separate age restrictions. These will be identified when booking or at the event.
4. Refunds and Change of Mind
All ticket purchases are subject to the Australian Consumer Law (ACL).
Nothing in these Terms excludes, restricts or modifies any consumer guarantee, right or remedy available under the Australian Consumer Law or any other applicable law that cannot lawfully be excluded, restricted or modified.
Unless otherwise stated for a particular ticket or experience, we do not provide refunds simply because you change your mind, can no longer attend, make an accidental purchase or experience a change in personal circumstances.
This does not affect any rights or remedies you may have under the Australian Consumer Law.
5. Event Changes, Cancellation and Rescheduling
YULE is a live event, and programs may occasionally need to change.
South & Co reserves the right to make reasonable changes to event programming, entertainment, performers, stallholders, workshops, food and beverage offerings, operating arrangements or other event elements where necessary.
If an event is cancelled, rescheduled or significantly changed, ticket holders will be advised of the options available to them, including any refund or other remedy required under the Australian Consumer Law.
Where an event cannot proceed because of circumstances outside South & Co's reasonable control—including severe weather, natural disaster, emergency, government direction or other circumstances beyond our control—any refund, credit, transfer or other remedy will be determined having regard to these Terms and applicable law.
6. Weather
YULE events may include outdoor areas and are generally intended to proceed in varying weather conditions.
Patrons should check event communications and dress appropriately for the forecast conditions.
An event may be delayed, modified, suspended or cancelled where South & Co, the venue, emergency services or relevant authorities determine that weather or other conditions make it unsafe or impractical for the event to proceed as planned.
Safety decisions may be made at short notice.
7. Workshops, Food Trails and Special Experiences
YULE may offer separately ticketed workshops, dining events, food and wine experiences, demonstrations, tours and other special experiences.
These activities may be subject to additional booking conditions, including specific start times, age requirements, capacities, dietary arrangements, cancellation conditions and accessibility requirements.
Any additional conditions will be communicated at the time of booking and form part of these Terms.
Participants are responsible for arriving at the nominated meeting point or venue by the specified time. Late arrival may result in an experience being shortened or, where the experience cannot reasonably accommodate late entry, forfeited.
8. Conditions of Entry
As a condition of entry to a YULE event, patrons must:
hold a valid ticket where one is required;
comply with reasonable directions from event staff, security personnel, venue management and emergency services;
behave responsibly and in a manner that does not endanger or unreasonably interfere with other patrons, staff, stallholders, performers or suppliers;
comply with applicable liquor licensing requirements and responsible service of alcohol requirements; and
comply with any venue-specific conditions of entry communicated for the relevant event.
Prohibited items may include weapons, illegal substances, glass, lasers, dangerous items and unauthorised commercial recording equipment.
South & Co reserves the right to refuse entry to or remove a person from an event where reasonably necessary for safety, security, licensing compliance or the enjoyment of other patrons, including where a person is behaving aggressively, dangerously or in a seriously disruptive manner.
9. Alcohol and Licensed Areas
Alcohol may only be purchased and consumed in accordance with applicable liquor licensing requirements.
Proof of age may be required to purchase or consume alcohol or enter designated licensed areas.
South & Co and its licensed operators reserve the right to refuse service of alcohol where required or permitted by law, including under responsible service of alcohol requirements.
10. Photography and Filming
Photography and filming may take place at YULE events for promotional, editorial, archival and marketing purposes.
By attending a YULE event, you acknowledge that you may incidentally appear in photographs or footage captured in public event areas.
Where practicable, patrons who do not wish to be deliberately photographed or filmed are encouraged to advise event staff.
Unauthorised photography or recording for commercial purposes is not permitted without prior written approval from South & Co.
11. Accessibility and Special Requirements
We aim to make YULE events welcoming and accessible.
If you have accessibility requirements relevant to your attendance or participation in a particular experience, please contact us in advance where possible so we can provide information about the venue and consider reasonable arrangements.
Accessibility varies between venues and experiences, and relevant information will be provided for individual events where available.
12. Food, Allergies and Dietary Requirements
YULE events may include independent food vendors, restaurants, chefs, producers and other food and beverage operators.
Patrons with allergies or dietary requirements should make their requirements known directly to the relevant food provider and make their own enquiries before consuming food or beverages.
For pre-booked dining experiences where dietary requirements are requested during booking, we will make reasonable efforts to communicate those requirements to the relevant provider. We cannot guarantee that any event environment will be completely free from particular allergens.
13. Personal Property and Safety
Patrons are responsible for their personal belongings while attending YULE.
Outdoor event environments may involve ordinary risks associated with crowds, temporary event infrastructure, changing weather and natural or uneven surfaces.
Patrons should exercise reasonable care, follow event signage and instructions, supervise children appropriately and notify event staff of any safety concern.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, South & Co's liability is limited as permitted under applicable law. Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited.
14. Intellectual Property
Unless otherwise stated, content on the YULE website and YULE-owned event materials—including YULE branding, logos, text, graphics, illustrations, photography and original creative material—is owned by or licensed to South & Co Pty Ltd and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws.
Content must not be reproduced, adapted, distributed or used for commercial purposes without prior written permission, except as permitted by law.
Third-party names, logos, photographs, artwork and other intellectual property remain the property of their respective owners.
15. Website and Event Information
We take reasonable care to ensure information published on the YULE website is accurate and current.
As YULE is a live event, details may change after publication. This may include programming, participating vendors, performers, schedules and other event information.
Where an important change affects ticket holders, we will make reasonable efforts to communicate that change through the contact details provided when booking.
16. Privacy
Personal information collected through the YULE website, ticketing, subscriptions, bookings and events is handled in accordance with the YULE Privacy Policy and applicable privacy laws.
Marketing communications will include an option to unsubscribe where required.
17. Third-Party Services and Links
The YULE website may contain links to third-party websites or services, including ticketing, payment, accommodation, tourism, restaurant, stallholder or partner websites.
Those third parties operate independently and may have their own terms and privacy policies.
South & Co is not responsible for the content or operation of third-party websites except to the extent required by law.
18. Changes to These Terms
South & Co may update these Terms & Conditions from time to time.
The current version will be published on the YULE website with the date it was last updated.
Changes will not retrospectively remove consumer rights or alter the contractual terms applicable to an existing ticket purchase where doing so would be contrary to law.
19. Governing Law
These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia.
The parties submit to the jurisdiction of the courts and tribunals of New South Wales and any courts competent to hear appeals from them, subject to any rights available under applicable consumer law.
